Please by prepared! Resin printing is not as easy as FDM 3D printing. Allot of safety issues and equipment is required good ventilation and appropriate curing of printed parts is a prerequisite.
For those of you having children at home please rethink it. You cannot have a resin printer at Home unattended and the materials (resins) are extremely toxic.
From my personal experience I started resin printed a year ago after receiving my printer and stopped a couple of days later. Only after being in quarantine due to the COVID-19 situation I managed to start trying again.
Please also note, that the process of mastering a resin printer is a trial and error process allot of reading allot of online instructions and videos will be involved.
Even if you are one of the lucky ones that received a printer that worked from the first print, sooner or later you will have to calibrate, change FEP and fail. Then you will have to learn the hard way in order to bring your printer back in action.
Furthermore, resin, as a material has allot more variations than FDM printing materials. Change the brand of PLA filament may require just a little adjustment of you settings. Change a bottle of the same brand different color resin may be something that will trouble you allot.
After all these you could probably ask yourself so why moving to resin printing? For one and single reason. The print quality is beyond any expectation! Totally unbelievable!
