Cons:
I think that
- First of all, an airbrush is a very difficult tool. It gets allot of practice to master the appropriate strokes.
- Second, the selection of an airbrush is important. You must invest a serious amount of money for getting the appropriate equipment.
- Third, you cannot spray everything. Airbrush needs specific type of paints. Deluded acrylics will not work. An airbrush paint needs to be very thin but also needs to contain the appropriate quantity of binding medium in order for it to stick in the surface.
- Fourth, you always need to wear protective equipment in order to avoid inhaling paint
- Last but not least, with an airbrush you must fight the cloudy spray effect when you actually wish to paint and find ways to use the tools as a paint brush. This is not easy!
Pros:
- If you master an airbrush you can produce amazing effects
- I have seen airbrush painting that could be categorized as hyper-realistic
