This is a more advanced and more demanding painting project that cartoon figures mainly because movie characters are “actual persons” and thus we should exercise enhanced realism when painting them or go to a minimal solution on a mat single colour style.
For this reason I would suggest, if you are not extremely familiar with acrylics” to go with oil colour that can be worked easier, dry slow and can be retouched at any stage of drying.
