- Acrylics need more preparation if you wish to reduce drying times (e.g. spray the back side of the painting, create a palette on top of a moisture surface to avoid colors drying )
- Usually cheap acrylics are of less quality that the oil colors of the same price range
- Selection of acrylic paint is crucial to the outcomes you are going to achieve
